I Dunno What To Do

Postby Major » Fri Apr 24, 2020 11:24 am

Our postman found the old boy in a heap on his doorstep earlier today, ambulance came , took him away, I phoned hospital and they would not give me details as I am not related.
I feel terrible, helpless

I phoned the hospital back and asked if they would give hime my phone number, not heard back from them.
I did think he had a son and dorta but he deffo has a son.

There are only 4 of us who live here so I asked the retired bookie to come to the house which is open, we found his phone and his son was in it, bookie phoned son and told him of the situation, his attitude was not favourable.
We found keys and secured premises,

I have been around there since to make sure it is Ok and collected eggs.

Will go back later.

Dunno what else I can do., something strange is going on.

He did give both numbers, he has kept an eye on him for years, I came on to the scene about 4 years ago, the bookie is out of this country for long spells so I help out.

If it were not for the world dickimint at present I would just walk in the hospital and take my chances, he is in good hands.

See what tomorrow brings

LOL. You never know what he's been eating. May not exercise proper food hygiene or may keep stuff too long in fridge.

Eggs will last well over a month and they don't need putting in a fridge.
Eggs and fridges are an American nonsense.
Stored below 20C is fine
so hot summer might be worth considering the fridge.

We have dumped all his old eggs, we found 8 in the coops which are only 2 days old and nicked them.
When he comes out he will only have fresh ones, he has far too many anyway, I will find an outlet for them when they really start laying
