Bittersweet day for me.
One of Rachel's friends called with a box of cupcakes and a t-shirt. Four of them always join together to get us something on Fathers and Mothers Days as she no longer can. Such lovely girls.
Bit annoyed at the t-shirt though. It says "EXERCISE. SORRY,THOUGHT YOU MEANT EXTRA RICE"

Happy Fathers day Chris, never forget, you have been and always will be Rachel's Dad, therefore celebrate that she was here, celebrate her life, she was and always will be your child. Cheers to Rachel

Me too and a bottle of ten year old original Glenmorangie.
The Glen is a very nice single malt the Laphroaig is a bit like Marmite love it or hate it.
I hated all Islay whisky's at one time now I love them.
These are the whisky's that taste of bonfire campfire hot tar pork chops on a BBQ sausages and gravy even tinned fish.sheep shit and so on.
Pretty complex affairs and not for people used to the stuff you splash a bit of coke in.
If you don't like it try and stick with it by way of having a few sips every evening and thinking about the complexities of what's going on with your taste buds. Lovely stuff.
