That may apply to yourself or someone of your low business acumen, lack of knowing the right people who will DO A DEAL FOR CASH, SB
Been there, done it, no prob.

I feel a sort of sorrow, sadness for you SB, go get a bit of excitement into your life, you may even enjoy yourself.

We are also scrounging goods which have been over ordered on other jobs. not paid a single penny for electric cable yet, unfortunately we only got a few sockets and switches

Been promised cement and plaster next week.

Happy days SB

I doubt mentioning "Howdens" was your best idea, on your "scrounging " mission.

Because of the lock down Builders Merchants do not have available stocks of Building Materials at the moment, a great majority of builders are sitting on their hands due to lack of materials , plus they are unable to enter property to work on without PPE .

Yet your supplies seem to have fallen off the back of a lorry . Amazing !!!

Plaster/Plaster Board are rarer than "Hens Teeth" at the moment along with other Kitchen refurbishing equiptment

Builders are complaining that Prices are at least three times their original price , Bags of Plaster on E Bay £ 107 each .

I see a bit of bad planning and the " Old Boy" is paying for it !

I, we will not lose out SB.

I have told you before, I have tried hard to edificate thee to no avail.

You buy big at the right price SB, you QUICKLY sell half or thereabouts half of your merchandise for what you paid for the entire lot, what is left is PROFIT.

The driver will stay here overnight, GRATIS.

The old boy Roy will be looked after.

Tiz too late for you to learn ENTERPRISE SB

I am not quite sure I understand your business acumen ,

Most Builders merchants at the moment are limiting supplies to their customers due to the lock down over the last three months , it is mainly collect at depot ,( wait in line for half an hour and be told that the items required are out of stock) Delivery services are not available
Supplies are monitored so there are no bulk deliveries , this is to ensure that regular customers are able to get a limited supply of materials
Its going to be a long time before the building supply business gets back on track .
