The Good Old Tranny Van

They have been fantastic workhorse for us over the years when they replaced the Thames 15 cwt.
2 of my lot have voted to replace our 3 oldest ones which have been hammered with new.
I know that for the sake of a few hundred quid we can get another year out of them and finances may be more certain then, we only do local work, low mileage but heavy.

Never let us down.

Which other light truck, van is as good????

Had a few Ford transits over the years all been great workhorses.
IVECO built to last forever.
VW T4 and T5.
Each brand though will have its supporters.

Tranny spares, service parts are easy to get

The Iveco badge stands out and I see a lot about.

Driven loads and owned two, a Mk4 and a Mk6. Mk6 on and they're just not as long lasting or reliable as the old RWD ones.

I drive a Merc Sprinter daily, the same one for three years but I had a go in Peugeot Boxer a few weeks ago, it went like shit off of a shovel.

Change of plan.
We will NOT be having new vehicles for at least 12 months, I wanna see how the economy workloads pans out..

We had our 4 poster vehicle lift serviced yesterday, go robbed, expensive.
We will be servicing/repairing our own vehicles for 12 months approx, we have come to an agreement with a retired Ford technician as he likes to be called, to do work for us in our own premises.
