I haven't really been out so I haven't done anything. I like to think I helped a few people when I was work, but as far as I know, nobody really needs much help anyway. I've checked up on a few people by phone to see if they're OK, and that's about it.

I think some automatically say OK when you ask if they need anything.
At the moment we only have one old girl by us and she is so hard to help, I gather she values her independence as we all should but I feel she is neglected by her own.
The geeza who had the lorry trouble says he as also offud but got negative response, he knew her way back and her husband when he was alive.

The thing is, if something nasty happens you yourself take on the concern.

A few weeks back the old boy had accident.

All 3 neighbours have my number.

I'm not actually doing anything physical to help anyone & it's rather frustrating not being part of some sort team that is doing something for the community...

This virus has really put the fear in me so by staying in & following the guidelines I feel I'm helping in some way ... the NHS in particular.

Very sad times ..... :shake head:

Am not doing anything particular. However me living here makes the community a more pleasant place to reside.

Staying behind ones front door is the best thing one can do for the Community at this moment in time .

Stay in, keep your community safe .

The community is advised by our government to do essenshul shopping and take a walk/exercise if one so desires, needs to.
I personally do NOT see many doing such here, some days there are more than other days but still very small.
Cue SB.
If you do not go out it is greatly reducing any help you can give to your community..

How doest thou SB help anyone during this tragedy??

was caught up in my thoughts over Stooo's nonsense, i failed to reciprocate the smile of a passer by. I was a 100 yards away when i turned back, remebering times i felt abandoned when a smile wasn't reciprocated. He is a retired musician. Another man i saw by the mote was clearing rubbish as his exercise.
