The law is that by 2050 all CO2 emissions will be banned. It will happen .

Why not help the environment and make an effort now to help the next generation .

Impossible!
I have never heard of anything so daft!
Every time you breathe out your breathe out CO2 as do other animals and plants.
Everytime you open a fizzy drink every time you brew a beer or open one!
How many loaves are baked a day on this planet because they all produce CO2.
Without CO2 there is no photosynthesis.
Without CO2 there is no life.
The CO2 in fossil fuels came from the sky and were putting a very small fraction of it back up there.
According to NASA the more animal and human activity the more CO2 the more CO2 the more plants meaning more food meaning more oxygen production!

Climate of ignorance
As carbon dioxide levels have risen, the planet’s green vegetation has increased by 14 per cent
Back in 1908 Svante Arrhenius, a Nobel laureate and the father of the greenhouse theory, predicted something like this would happen. ‘By the influence of the increasing percentage of carbonic acid in the atmosphere, we may hope to enjoy ages with more equable and better climates,’ he wrote. The earth, he predicted, ‘will bring forth much more abundant crops than at present, for the benefit of rapidly propagating mankind’. This has proved to be the case. Environmentally, this is perhaps the best news you’ve never heard.

Deserts 'greening' from rising CO2
Increased levels of carbon dioxide (CO2) have helped boost green foliage across the world's arid regions over the past 30 years through a process called CO2 fertilisation, according to CSIRO research.

So are you saying that the Scientists of the World have got it wrong and there is no evidence of CO2 emissions causing Climate Change ????

We should be planting more Trees instead of burning them . Trees absorb CO2 .

My council has just sent me a letter stating from end of June they will charge £40 per year to empty green waste garden bins, you have to pay in advance and they will give you a sticker so bin collectors can ID these bins,
We have always put waste food in the garden bin and ordinary bin as directed.

Others are making money out of our rubbish anyway.

We've been paying for garden collection for ages now.

Extra to what Major? We've been paying specifically for garden waste collection.

WE have had 3 bins for years now FG which have been paid for in our community charge which you would not believe how much, the council will now only collect 2 of the bins as per community charge but CHARGE £40 PER YEAR EXTRA OER YEAR TO TAKE AWAY GARDEN RUBBISH which they have already been paid for once

Which scientists?
Are you forgetting the ones that are saying our contribution to climate change is extremely small but yes it is there.
It's greening the world greening the deserts etc.
Our CO2 contribution is actually more beneficial than harmful but that isn't what the agenda crowd want you to hear.
All this shrieking climate emergency is a manufactured nonsense. How can a rise of less than one degree C over a hundred and fifty years of massive coal oil and gas burning suddenly be an emergency?
In medieval times the temperature rose and fell by two degrees altering the northern hemispheres climate enough to affect farming across the entire region .... what caused that?
In Roman times the warm period was up to 3 degrees higher .... what caused that and did the sky fall down or did the world actually thrive on it?
Grapes were being grown and the terraces can still be seen along the Scottish border.
We have already started the world over having wind and sun powered electricity we have low energy light bulbs in our homes streets factories supermarkets and it will carry on like that .... no shrieking needed.
Where would you like the thermostat set?
You seem to think there is some normal we know about and should somehow be setting the thermostat to that like we can control the climate that easily. That we should be even trying to control the climate!
Read the story of king Cnut where he basically takes the p out of people who think like that.
Is there a hole where we should shove the thermometer?
While we have had a very mild winter North America has record low temperatures and tons of snow.
Iraq Iran have had twelve feet of snow so where exactly would you like to take the average temperature and where would you like to set the temperatures and how?

Would you consider trees and animals drawing CO2 down from the atmosphere and turning it into coal oil gas as a natural process or had man been there we'd have put a stop to it using small schoolgirls who know nothing of the science?
Was that a natural process?

No doubt if you'd been around you'd have wanted man to do something about it ... control the weather control climate control nature set the thermostat to some imaginary ideal .... who would you have blamed for this ....

Medieval Warm Period
Temperature Fluctuations in Greenland and the Arctic

Medieval Warm Period (900–1300 AD)
The Medieval Warm Period (MWP) was a time of warm climate from about 900–1300 AD, when global temperatures were somewhat warmer than at present. Temperatures in the GISP2 ice core were about 2°F (1°C) warmer than modern temperatures (Fig. 8.14). The effects of the warm period were particularly evident in Europe, where grain crops flourished, alpine tree lines rose, many new cities arose, and the population more than doubled.

The Vikings took advantage of the climatic amelioration to colonize southern Greenland in 985 AD, when milder climates allowed favorable open-ocean conditions for navigation and fishing. This was close to the maximum Medieval warming recorded in the GISP2 ice core at 975 AD (Stuiver et al., 1995). Erik the Red explored Greenland from Iceland and gave it its name. He claimed land in southern Greenland and became a chieftain about 985 AD. The first Greenlanders brought grain seed, probably barley, oats, and rye, horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats. The southern coastal area was forested at the time. Greenland settlements lasted about 500 years before cooling during the Little Ice Age ended the settlements.

About 620 farms have been excavated in Greenland. Lo>>>>> https://www.sciencedirect.com/topics/ea ... arm-period

All our science and all our supercomputers still can't predict the weather long term very reliably.
That's mostly because the main greenhouse gas .... water vapour is so unpredictable.
How many clouds will there be in the northern hemisphere next month next year in ten years .... yet people want to believe we can predict what a very tiny part of the climate .... CO2 will do a generation up front!
If you feed all the information about a roulette wheel into a supercomputer about the materials speed pressure temperature the same for the ball and the throw .... you cannot predict where the ball will land.
That's full knowledge knowing everything we can about the situation.
If we can't even do that how on earth can people believe we can predict the extremely complex climate that we know so little about?
The climate change sporadically and also timely to a degree.
We know some of what influences it and a little of the why.
The sun is the main driver but also the moon and planets.
The earth is not an island but part of a solar system where each part influences another.
Each part is connected.
Some things that affect climate take generations some mere moments.

I remember that in the 1970s, "scientists" had used computer models to "prove" that the increase in industrial activity was about to trigger another ice age. The villains and solutions were the same as with global warming: Economic growth, rising living standards, capitalism and increased economic activity were going to destroy the planet. Then, as now, reduction in the use of fossil fuels, de facto restrictions on the use of automobiles, higher taxes and forced reductions in living standards were the recommended policy responses.

Dont have to, Renewable energy from solar/wind farms reached 40% of electricity to UK Homes via the National Grid 2019 .
And things will be getting better .
