I was under the impression that Scotland and Wales are joined to England and all part of GREAT BRITAIN .

It's not that easy to succeed in contesting a Will. You would have to prove that the person was not of sound mind or something. Also, if they have dependants like young children, that could work, but generally, the deceased person's wishes are upheld.
