What is important is to compare with the baseline for each as individuals

Joe Biden has a stammer. It's something he has mastered but for a person with a stammer to mask it takes a great deal of concentration, which can lead to other mistakes. Joe Biden thiry years ago was very little different to Joe Biden now in terms of fluency, range of vocabulary and cohesive grammatical structure.

Donald Trump was a very good talker in the 1990s. The decline between 1990s Trump and this year's model is plain to see.

So his stammer makes him fall all over the place, and makes him talk to dead people ? OK, fair enough :gigglesnshit:

Joe Biden has made significant strides during his tenure. Let’s delve into some reasons why he is regarded as a great president:

Historic Achievements: Joe Biden’s accomplishments have been nothing short of historic. He has stood on the side of freedom versus tyranny in the largest land war in Europe since World War II, a role no American president has played since the Roosevelt-Truman era. His achievements include passing a $1.9 trillion pandemic relief bill, rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement, and reversing the ban on transgender people in the military.

Statesmanship and Caring: Unlike his predecessor, Joe Biden is a statesman who genuinely cares about the country. He listens to experts, including doctors and scientists, and prioritizes issues like climate change. His commitment to rebuilding the Democratic coalition and winning back the support of disaffected, working-class voters is commendable.

Unity and Consistent Message: Biden’s ability to unite behind a candidate and echo a consistent message is noteworthy. If a Republican president had a record remotely equalling Biden’s, there would be debates about whether he should be called one of the greatest presidents or simply the greatest.

In summary, Joe Biden’s leadership, achievements, and commitment to democracy make him a great American president.

Donald Trump has been a subject of intense debate and scrutiny. While opinions vary, several reasons contribute to the assertion that he is one of the worst presidents in American history:

Lies and Misleading Statements: Trump has made over 10,100 false or misleading statements since his inauguration, spanning topics from crowd sizes to tariff policies. His normalization of lying has eroded trust and integrity, setting a poor example for future leaders.

Covid response; President Trump
downplayed the risks associated with COVID-19. He suggested that it was under control and would be “just fine”.

questioned the effectiveness of masks, promoted unproven treatments.

His messaging was inconsistent, leading to confusion among the public.

The U.S. could have potentially averted 40% of COVID-19 deaths if its response had aligned with other high-income G7 countries

Corruption: Numerous instances highlight Trump’s use of the presidency for personal gain. Taxpayer subsidies for his properties, overseas expansion facilitated by foreign governments, and his refusal to release financial records raise ethical concerns.

Business Failures: Contrary to his self-proclaimed image as a successful businessman, Trump’s businesses reported losses of nearly $1.2 billion between 1985 and 1994. His tax cuts disproportionately benefited corporations, leaving the average citizen behind.

Incitement of Hate and Bigotry: Trump’s divisive rhetoric, insults, and discriminatory remarks have targeted various groups, including blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, and immigrants. His policy of separating immigrant children from their parents was widely criticized as inhumane.

Climate Change Denial: Despite scientific consensus, Trump denied climate change and favoured fossil fuels. His policies exacerbated global warming, disregarding warnings from government scientists.

Authoritarian Tendencies: Trump’s admiration for strongmen and disregard for U.S. intelligence agencies raised concerns about his commitment to democratic norms.

In summary, Donald Trump’s presidency was marked by controversy, division, and policies that often ran counter to the best interests of the American people. He is definitively the worst president in history.

I don't disagree but would like to know where that is quoted from.

When there were filings in court to say that Trump could not raise the $91 million bond in the E Jean Carroll case and he was seeking - legal term here - equitable relief to stay enforcement of the judgement against him it turned out he had the bond in his back pocket before the papers were filed. (Which was a case of him misleading the courts that went unremarked and unpunished but never mind about that.)

So when Trump says he doesn't have the money this time I don't believe him and that the 'Clean Hands' doctrine should apply.

An equitable defense that bars relief to a party who has engaged in inequitable behavior (including fraud, deceit, unconscionability, or bad faith) related to the subject matter of that party's claim. The unclean hands doctrine is also known as the "clean hands doctrine" and the "dirty hands doctrine." The unclean hands doctrine typically applies only to equitable claims such as requests for injunctive relief or specific performance, but some jurisdictions permit it as a defense to legal claims as well.

Although the unclean hands doctrine is typically an affirmative defense asserted by a defendant, it may also be asserted by a plaintiff in opposition to an equitable defense such as estoppel.

Trump has said, under oath, that he has plenty of money, more than enough to pay his judgement creditors and his treatment of the courts, their officials and even witnesses does nothing to encourage the courts to use any purely discretionary powers they may have to help him.

If Trump has said under oath that he has the money it must be the truth or his truth.
How the hell he ever made it to the highest office in America is truly baffling and the idiots are supposed to be on the way to voting him in for a second term.

There's probably a conspiracy theory website out there that explains why the level of intelligence is on a downward curve.

I don't think those "idiots" who are voting for Trump vote for him because they love him so much, they vote for him because the alternative is even more unthinkable.
Not many would want another 4 years of that Biden shit.

There's the border problem...enough said, so is the soft on crime, violent criminals are being freed without bail only to re-offend again, police being de-funded, people just don't feel safe anymore, the disgusting sexualisation of children in schools, kids can change their gender without parental approval, and if parents complain, they're called domestic terrorists, might even have their kids removed from their care, men allowed in women's sports, censorship of free speech etc....
It goes on and on.
And of course there's Hunters laptop, YES I will mention it, no point denying, it shows the suppression of important information by corrupt media in favour of the establishment.
I think many of the most die hard democrats even have had enough.

For anyone who isn't in the serial loser's Death Cult 'that Biden shit' is the highest number of jobs created since FDR, the biggest investment in infrastructure in over 100 years, earnings rising faster than prices, better healthcare, better environmental protection.

While Trump waves the flag and cuts benefits to veterans Joe Biden has increased benefits for toxic exposed vets.

The Loser's Death Cult always respond to legitmate questioning of Trump's record with myths about other presidents and conviently forget that living standards in the USA not only fell under Trump but fell by much more than for people in any other country in the world - with the possible exception of Peru.
