Judge allows case against Marjorie Taylor Greene to proceed

If you can get past the irony of Marjorie Taylor-Greene saying that votes not judges should decide elections after everything she has been a part of this could have implications for other Republican candidates and for the chances of Donald Trump to run again in 2024.

Within the 14th Amendment to the US constitution there is a prohibition on anyone what has taken part in any insurrection against the US Federal Government running for office.

Very few people think this will actually result in MTG being barred from running but it will put her in a place where she has to testify under oath and therefore at jeopardy from perjury charges.

Some in Trump's camp may be concerned that Taylor-Greene is just bat shit crazy enough to give an accurate and very detailed account of everyone involved in the conspiracy behind January 6 feeling completely confident that all her criminal acts were completely justified.
