It does sound made up.

If this would be a true story, she wouldn't add this kind of cynical comment, that it was the Trump campaign.
She would be grateful that Elon will pay her legal bills and leave it at that.

She would only post the name of her employer, if Elon would refuse after he offered.

Sorry, don't buy it.

If you look up.

Further.

No Further.

A bit more.

More than that.

There do you see it.

Way, way, way above your head.

That's the point that was being made.

Donald Trump is asking to establish a SCIF at Mar A Lago

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/202 ... mar-a-lago

Lawyers for Donald Trump asked a federal judge on Wednesday to approve the re-establishment of an ultra-secure facility at his Mar-a-Lago club to review classified documents produced to him in discovery, an audacious request without precedent in national security cases.

The request essentially would give Trump the freedom to discuss and review the same classified documents he has been charged with illegally retaining in the same location where the alleged crimes took place.

This means Trump is asking permission to build a facility where can view documents he kept and viewed at Mar A Lago so he can legally keep and view those same documents at Mar a Lago.

I've read that a lot of times and it always sounds like a guilty plea.

If the trial dates are set, is Mr Smith able to apply sanctions on TFG such as house arrest with conditions (which will be broken and result in secure confinement) that will stop him trying to appeal them and further delay the trial? :dunno:

Musk has stated he is planning to remove the block feature from Twitter/X.

It's unclear if this means all the people you blocked on your account will become unblocked by child protection and women's safety groups are, I think understandably, concerned by the development.

It's probably the final nail in the coffin for the site formerly known as Twitter.

I've been locked out a long time ago, don't know what happened, nothing to do with anything I posted, because I hardly ever posted.
I just liked reading.
Now I can't even do that

He must be doing this on purpose, because even a halfwit would know what he's doing is destroying the site, and people will move on to other platforms.

I deleted as soon as Musk took over, not because of his politics but because of his attitude to data security.

My account which existed solely for the purpose of following The Pittsburgh Steelers wasn't worth the risk to my personal data. Remember how Musk got rid of virtually all the staff who oversaw the security of personal data in his first week?

It looks like Trump has returned to Twitter.

Say goodbye to your money everyone who invested in the SPAC to buy Truth Social

The final nail.

Twitter was pretty non-partisan and the RW hated that so they bought it and have now destroyed it. Most of the main stream-media is RW yet they still fail to inspire 50% of the vote.

It's like they want to shut down a platform because it's upsetting, some people would say that it's a billionaire cancelling at least half of the users just because he can.

Time to look back in on how Space Karen has been doing lately.

Having decided that any content that hints Palestinians are humans and shouldn't be bombed indiscriminately is 'anti-Semitic' he proceeded to say that Jews were preaching hatred against all Whites and destroying Western Civilisation.

I can't help but feel there's a mixed message there but Elon isn't worried about me - he's worried about Anti Defamation League and Media Matters.

Both of these groups saw, as most of the world did, Musk's ongoing support for anti-Semitic tropes like Replacement Theory and certain anti-Critical Race Theory content and wrote articles that drew attention to it. Articles that in combination with Musk's active promotion of anti-Semitic content have prompted companies like Apple, Lionsgate, Disney and NBC to pull their advertising from X (or Twitter or whatever he's calling it this week).

So, you or any reasonable person might think, having allowed Elon Musk to exercise his free speech Media Matters and the ADL used their free speech to inform advertisers how they could use their free speech to best effect to oppose anti-Semitism.

Space Karen doesn't see it that way. He has announced he intends to sue Media Matters and the ADL for the billions in ad revenue his anti-Semitic views have cost him.

If Elon wins Stoo can sue the Murdoch Media Empire for not advertising on Dogs - he'll make a mint.

Space Karen is doing everything he can to tilt the odds in his favour, except offer a case with any legal merit.

The lawsuit has been filed in Texas, and taken up by Ken Paxton, remember him? Yes he was the one the Texas senate decided not to impeach despite overwhelming evidence on sixteen different charges of bribery and corruption. It's open to question whether Cash-Out Kenny took the case up because he thinks it has merit or because Elon cut him a cheque. Of course neither Twitter nor Media Matters is based in Texas, Media Matters is based in Washington DC and Twitter is based in California. Space Karen probably wants to avoid Califoria's anti-SLAPP laws.

It does seem pretty certain this lawsuit is primarily aimed at creating a nuisance and intimidation. In the text of his complaint Musk admits that the Media Matters' allegations are substantially true, then tries to distract by denying claims the article never made and ends by completely failing to address the virulently anti-Semitic Tweet (Xs, Os whatever) that Musk supported at exactly the same time that the article was published.

Legal experts have given the lawsuit no chance of success and some have warned that by opening his own and X/Twitter up to the same discovery process that exposed Fox News knowing disinformation on the Big Lie Musk risks multiple lawsuits from those he has defamed on his platform

As usual, he didn't really think it through.

Reports now say that Twitter is worth only 30% of what Elon Musk paid for it with it's revenues down by 50%.

Despite that Musk's personal fortune has grown by more than $68 billion.

It might even be worth less than that, for all we know. The ''estimated'' worth is just speculation. Ultimately the true worth of any property or firm is simply how much the highest bidder would be willing to pay for it.

Maybe the $68 billion profits come from his automobile and spaceX businesses? :smilin:
