You're fleeing persecution etc etc but head home for xmas.
I think this shows how many of these people are taking the piss.
Let them go don't let them back in simple.

Including single men, with families back home, who’ve declared themselves gay, on the advice of their immigration lawyers?
Piss taking arseholes!

“Migrants applying for asylum in the UK are trying to go back home for Christmas, the UK's Border Force chief has told LBC.

Phil Douglas said his officers had been left shocked when carrying out exit checks on people leaving the UK.

LBC got an exclusive look behind the scenes at how Border Force operates at Luton airport - one of the busiest for Eastern European airlines in the run up to Christmas.

He said: "We do find a lot of people who have claimed asylum in this country, and are heading back to their own country for holidays, which obviously isn't allowed."

Home Secretary James Cleverly told LBC that some of those coming to the UK are economic migrants who are seeking a better life.

He said: "We have always been a very generous country, to the people who are genuinely seeking protection from persecution, from war from violence.

That has always been the nature of the British people. But we also recognise there are a lot of people who are fundamentally economic migrants.

"They are coming here because they want better jobs, perhaps, and what we're saying is you, if you're coming here illegally, you will not have the right to stay here, you will be sent home."

The article did make me chuckle. How can they afford the plane tickets?

The idiotic Rwanda plan is also mentioned in the article, but imo it’s totally unworkable, why the Government continues to push for such a policy is beyond me.

I once saw a news reporter asking people awaiting dinghies in northern France if they knew about the Rwanda plan, unsurprisingly they’d never heard of it.

Some deterrent that is!

Given what an almighty, decrepit shithole the UK has become, I can only imagine how dire life is for the "economic migrants" back home for the UK to be the "better option". Poor fuckers.

The Rwanda plan is an absolute farce that was never meant to be taken seriously. Now it's Li'l Rishi's only hope. It's absolutely pitiful, but it gives the Daily Mail & Telegraph plenty of milage to flog their crap to the hard-of-thinking.

It’s beyond a joke, I can’t believe it’s being taken seriously by our (not so) glorious leaders.
I really can’t wait for them to be exterminated in next election.
They’re beyond hopeless.

Yeah that's a bit strange.
Then again many Ukranians here did exactly the same. Specialist travel agencies organised luxury travel for them to make multiple visits to F&F, it was in the news. Maybe their destination was Western Ukraine which is a safer zone. It's a massive country and the (safe) western part alone is actually larger than the whole of the UK!

Anyhoo ...... happy Christmas to you & yours, Rollup, stay safe. :Hiya:
