Meh what you never had you never mishh ...... hic!

It’s another pointless contraption… sticking a sharp knife in lets you know if it’s done or not!

My paring knife is far from sharp, you can shave with the cleaver and boning knife however

It's a little stubby bastard but I use it to cut veg and spuds towards my thumb without slicing injuries and it's ideal for judging the density when you're par-boiling them.

So, now we’ve established how sharp your knives are :thud: … do you own a meat thermometer? :NAA:

Sod the thermometer, he needs to sharpen his paring knife.

No, I have a Thermpro industrial thermal probe that is pretty fucking cool though, I use it to check the fridge and freezer temps and have had it stuck on the side of a bbq smoking 15lb of brisket for 15 hours. It's not specifically a meat thermometer but it probably does a better job than the ones that say they are.

Well worth the purchase

Sorely tempted to say the immortal line "Stick a fork in it, it's done", but I'll resist.
Ooops ......
.........tell you what - I'll stick a sock in it - Enough!

Warning! Don’t do a David Cameron and stick your knob in it, it’s best to avoid severe burns.

We haven't trimmed up or cooked a Christmas diner since our daughter died suddenly in 2018. Wife won't cook.

Had a nice big leg of lamb yesterday though. Probably just drink and snack Xmas day if she goes to her friends. I can't go as she's fallen out with me cos I wouldn't have their dog in Feb when they went for 6 weeks to Philippines.
