New Zealand are to discontinue the ban on smoking in order to increase Tax Revenue .
Our Government is copying New Zealands Ban over the next few years , now it looks like it is a Lame Duck and will cost a fortune in lost Tax Revenue :kinell:

Health vs wealth. You can't argue a legislation on health grounds then do a u-turn without it looking like a big fat sod you.

People appear to have forgotten the Tory Party stand on Covid , that was to let the old and sick die as they were a burden on this Countries Tax revenue ,

The Government will lose a great part of its Tax if it totally bans smoking .

I doubt it. Tobacco tax has increased while our porous borders since brexit positively encourage smuggling, I don't know anyone who buys tobacco from a shop unless it's an emergency.

It will be dropped and forgotten like the rest of the pledges.
