Pukka steak pie, chips, broccoli and mushroom. Nice change but have been very thirsty since so there must be a lot of salt in the pie.

Sweet raspberries, cherries and grapes with a pink grapefruit tonic water.

Before I came to NZ I never heard of Marmite.
So when I had my first smell and taste of it, I nearly threw up, it was disgusting.
But over the years I actually started to like it.
Can't have too much of it though, just a little scrape over buttered toast will do.

I made a big pasta bake today with kumara, zucchini and lots of cheese

Roast chicken with potato, purple sprouting broccoli and a gorgeous gravy.

Sort of planning to lay off sugar (except natural) for lent so no pudding... I'll see how long I last.

I've been off sugar for a couple of years now... avid label reader too.
It can get tricky.
I also don't use artificial sweeteners.
I do use honey and dates and fruit and berries for natural sugar.

I do eat a lot of fruit which I won't be stopping but I found myself having quite a bit of honey on my porridge but I make my yogurt less sour now so don't really need that anymore.

I won't be faffing with labels, just cutting out sweet treats and not adding sugar to my drinks as that amounts to about 6tsp a day.
