Why is Oikophobia so rife on this forum?

But you can't expand this point of view and this reality on to a national level with you wanting open borders for the UK.

We've already got open borders. If you have a few million in the bank and a yacht or private plane you can go wherever you want, if you've basically walked from Syria or worked with the British Army in Afghanistan then you're shit out of luck.

I'm keeping it local for the simple reason that I know the area very well and have seen the developments that have sprung up from HPC in the area. Barratt and the rest of the builders are slinging up 30 year houses all over Highbridge and Huntspill (East and West) on the fringes of fairly localised communities and these are just for the construction stages of the 'sudden announcement' of the development that have been happening for over 18 months now. There is a great deal of fuck all there with the only industrial activity linked to access to the M5 or a detour to the A303 through Ilchester at J25. I'm totally aware of my language and the nuance contained in it
