Beer! Well done the lionesses!

After all I said yesterday I'm on the beer tonight.
There's a 12 year old grandaughter staying tonight she chose beer for me in the supermarket when out with Nan but but but... bought me four bottles and the one that really surprised me was Wrexham lager.
The brewery closed down years ago mostly because of the lager... 3.5% and like dish water so when I saw the bottle I was a bit ... I didn't know this was still made!
Well it never used to be in bottles and never used to be 5% and... it's pretty good... I'd buy it again.

I got up at 5.30.
Watched the Australia v France game on coffee.
The lionesses v Colombia with 4 pint cans of Stella.
Celebrated with a few glasses of Rose’.
Went to bed for a nap.
Back up, I’m cuddling Stella, still overjoyed at our girls and their never say die attitude.
Watching 12 Strong again, to remind me how unsanitary environments didn’t bother us.
Unlike pussy army Stooo and his bunch of hysterical idiots who’ve not dived into ice cold rivers to avoid incoming fire from the enemy, using far banks as cover, dressed in full combat gear.

Not had Vimto in decades. Back in the day it was as unhealthy as it was possible for a drink to be.

Ice cold Lemon Fanta. I'm now pretending I'm on holiday and just been ripped off by some local bloke selling them from a cooler box.

Not had Vimto in decades. Back in the day it was as unhealthy as it was possible for a drink to be.

Every couple of years I buy two 1 litre bottles of posh water, I also regularly buy concentrated fruit cordials. I just fill them up with a mix of tap water and cordial and freeze them in turn for a slurp of a cold drink when I'm out on the road.

Been a really beautiful summers day out there and I've driven many miles.
