Lucky bar steward! I lay in a frozen swamp with ice covering all the reeds for three hours noting all enemy vehicles, but after the patrol I got to climb into The Green Maggot, zipped it up and before long I was very toasty.

Your accommodation sounds great, almost on par with the RAF.

However, the chances of being hit by a sea skimming missile, or a torpedo, which would certainly ruin your comfy bed, makes me opt for the green maggot anytime.

Antelope, Sheffield, Galahad, etc etc, sailing is not my cup of tea.
