I suspect you can't even contemplate it.
But for a diabetic beer and wine are the worst kind of alcohol you can be consuming because your glucose levels will be sky high and no way around that.
If you must... really must have alcohol start sipping whisky. It's still going to kill you but a lot slower with less pain.
Reason being whisky isn't spiking your blood sugar levels. Pointless taking medication for diabetes if you're chucking wine and or beer down your throat.
If anything whisky is more likely to lower your blood readings.
I'm not a doctor or health specialist so it might be best ignoring my concerns.

I’ve a glucose monitor with alarms set for highs and lows which allow me to control my readings.
It’s synced with my phone and the diabetes centre who can monitor me 24/7.
Great piece of equipment.
Enjoy life Lordy but stay safe.

I was presented with a bottle of Johnny Walker Double Black last week.
It’s all gone :awesome:

Yes I've had it.
Nice smoky peaty whisky.
Mt favourite Johnny is the green blended malt.
Flavours I can't identify and quite complex too.
I might have to have a drink later now as my taste bud imagination just lit up!

Freestyle Libra CGM, my son gets them free and was in the first trials before the app, he's on another one for an even quicker system at the moment. They're around £150 for a pack of four which should last you a month.

I’m waiting for a Nigerian at tube, we are off for a couple of drinks.
I haven’t seen him since he took up s teaching position in Oxford a few years back.
Yesterday I was winding him up about England beating Nigeria in the football, so we opted to meet for beers.

Fairly sweaty today but it's meant to be massively hot tomorrow, I shall be wearing my new RM sun hat which is pretty well thought out IMV. On sunny days I usually wear a canvas umpire hat or my USPS pith helmet but the best that work could get us were baseball caps which is fine except for your neck and ears so I had a chat with our H&S manager who managed to procure an amount of the new style.

It's nylon and polyester and very floppy and after fondling it a bit to put my :smilin: badge on I found out that it's actually layered to allow the breeze to run through it, I get similar with the pith helmet but obviously look less of a cunt in this.

Bonus features: Annoying drawstrings, buttons to pin up the sides so that you can look like a cowboy or an Australian
