“Yevgeny Prigozhin: Exiled Wagner boss breaks silence in new audio message
Prigozhin defended his so-called "march for justice" by insisting he had no intention of overthrowing Vladimir Putin's government - and claimed it was abandoned to avoid bloodshed.

He added: "We have shown the level of organisation that an army must meet."

Describing the moment he decided to order his fighters to halt their advance on Moscow, Prigozhin said: "We felt that the demonstration of what we were going to do was enough. And our decision to turn back was influenced by two most important factors.

"The first factor was that we did not want to shed Russian blood.

"The second factor was that we were going for a demonstration of our protest, not to overthrow the government in the country."

He failed to mention that Wagner leaders families were threatened by the FSB if he didn’t turn his forces away from Moscow.

“Belarus will let Wagner Group stay operational, Prigozhin says
Mercenary chief pops up after his mutiny but gives no indication he’s winding up his private army.
“Wagner is likely the most experienced and combat-ready formation in Russia — and possibly in the world,” he said. “At this time, Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko extended his hand and offered to find solutions for the continued work of Wagner PMC within a legal jurisdiction.”

“Vladimir Putin says Wagner mutiny leaders will be 'brought to justice' :kinell:

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the leaders of last weekend's Wagner mutiny of wanting "to see Russia choked in bloody strife".
In a short speech full of vitriol, Mr Putin vowed to bring the organisers of the revolt "to justice".
But he called regular Wagner troops "patriots" who would be allowed to join the army, go to Belarus or return home.
He didn't directly name Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, who earlier denied trying to overthrow Mr Putin's regime.“

Cowardly fucking ungrateful snake!

If he executes any of them he will reap the whirlwind, Russian troops will leave the trenches and go after the bastard imo.

Civilians have clearly had enough of the cunt!

He clearly doesn’t get it, he’s growing increasingly unpopular.

Lukashenko has welcomed Prigozhin to Belarus as well as his Wagner PMC while Putin is stamping his feet apparently while the incoming troops are welcomed like a cuckoo into the Belarus army which also means a possible thrust from the North into Ukraine with the Belarus MoD in an attempt to atone for his sins.

Yeah right, this is all strategy.

One small comfort, I doubt the Belarus army can fight it’s way of of a paper bag. And their equipment will be whatever military junk the Russian army has worn out or finished with, and had insufficient scrap value to be nicked.

They will have Wagner chasing after them with pointy sticks! Watching the Belarus military elite listing to port under the weight of their medals this evening was amusing but nevertheless a push from the north by mainly Wagner is a possibility.

Very much so. Wagner are also now lacking heavy vehicles, so it is said. Even so, there are enough left to be a thoroughgoing nuisance if they advance on Kiev.

Maybe but Belarus is a puppet state that now has tactical nukes on their territory, Belarus felt threatened, plausible deniability after a launch.

All the NATO states bordering Belarus are getting quite nervous about Prighozin and Wagner being stationed there.
Lukashenko has offered them a military base, but says they won’t be guarding nuclear weapons.
Of course they won’t, static operations isn’t what Wagner are about, they’re an attacking force, and one that loves creating mischief and grabbing headlines.
From Belarus they can involve themselves in cross border raids, which in turn will cause Ukraine to withdraw troops from elsewhere to combat them.
As a majorly battle hardened force they’d be the ideal troops to attack Kyiv from their new home.
There is no rasputista mud, just hard ground now, ideal for tanks to move over open country and not have to stick to metal roads to get picked off by anti armour ambushes, as per the failed attack on Kyiv when Vlad ordered the attack on Ukraine last year.
Wagner and Prighozin won’t sit idle having a holiday in Belarus, they’ll be suffering itchy trigger fingers and will want to take action.
When where and how, we will have to wait and see.
That’s if Vlad allows them all to continue living.
