The money will be given to the Energy Companies and then deducted from the Customers Accounts , as the Interest rate is rocketing the Energy Companies will make a packet on interest so capping the Energy will not make a lot of difference to them .

Good point, i'd not thought of that. The £400 won't even scratch the sides though.

Meanwhile, multi million pound bonuses for the energy fat cats. Needless to say the list is endless but here are just three examples;

North Sea oil and gas bosses get combined £25m pay rise

Energy boss on £6m will get £770,000 payday in October as Brits' bills rocket

Wow, that's taking the piss. How can this be allowed? Can that asshole not live on £6m? People can't pay for their petrol to go to work, can't pay for power, food etc, and that brick gets a £770,000 pay raise? Unbelievable.

It's always been rife but under this government has not only got worse, it's blatant 'in yer face' to the point of sneering yet people daring to strike for inflation level increases get lambasted by RW media. The poverty gap has become a vast chasm and we now have many working people reliant on foodbanks as their incomes cannot cope. A lot of these folk who are in debt, turn to loanshark companies to try paying off their debt but end up in a spiralling mess of worse debt due to the loansharks exorbitant interest rates.

Presumably we should take and send gas/elec meter readings before 1 Oct to avoid being charged October prices for what we're using now?

I remember a time when fake news wasn't allowed on this forum...What happened?
Stooo, it's like you're using the forum as your little propaganda forum, and from the amount of members you have left it's not working. Your message is not getting across. Does garf have something on you that you have to let him get away with this drivel. Posting fake images is not facts mate :dunno:

Expect the price to double before Xmas.
Triple maybe.
I think we should plan a raid on the late Majors stash.

It's happening!
I'm sure you have all seen the steady rise well now it's about to accelerate like we can't imagine.
A six quid pack in some places now an eleven quid pack.
Twenty quid a throw is just over the horizon... Major! Major where are you?
Yes guest I'm obsessed with toilet roll and wiping my arse.

Shameless.

Johnson appointed Tory donor Richard Sharp as BBC Chairman and Sir Robbie Gibb is the Tory 'active agent' Maitlis is probably talking about. He was formerly with GB News so it figures. The party of slime and sleaze want the BBC for their propaganda hence Nads attempts to shut down Channel 4.

Proto-fascists are in Downing street now.

Turkey prices have been good indicators of the current CoL crisis.
Unreal looking price tags seen online.
Some Waitrose free range ones going for ~ £90
Organic ones direct from farm ~ £128
Norfolk organic ~ £197.10 !!

Wtf :dunno:

At M&S they were reduced to half price (from~ £50.00) earlier this week, for those interested.
