Plus, he sounds like he's wearing a VERY poorly-fitting set of dentures, Middens. Seen Trump jr & his shouty gf in a worse state!

Seems being "anti-woke" in the UK is nowhere near as popular as the US.

Who knew?

Is it really that difficult and painful to hear opposing views? FFS, what's the matter with you? Does everyone have to agree with you for you to be happy?

Of course it isn't but you can choose not to which is what people have been doing since the launch of a channel that exists now only to fuel a culture war that hardly anyone wants, it will happily fail now because there's enough bloody division in this country while no doubt whinging about being cancelled which is the new word for unpopular

Talking of new words I've been thinking about the failed insult that is 'woke'. It was applied originally to people who supported the BLM and XR movements as well to parts of Remain but it makes more sense as it's increasingly being used as the new nerd or geek. It now seems to cover people who read books, are educated or use the language correctly, who like classical music/genres that aren't mainstream, who don't watch soaps or support a football team.

That's what's behind your culture wars and the fuel that channels like GBeebies use to encourage division, Pol Pot used it to murder people who wore glasses because they were considered intellectuals, this has the same strength.

It used to be called reverse snobbery.

Excuse me, I read books, listen to classical music at times, don't watch the soaps or football and I don't think anyone would class me as "woke".

Can you imagine being on a plane and that happening?

I don't like flying at the best of times but experiencing something like that would mean I would never get on a plane again.

Some would regard you as such especially because you work in health care.
