HS2 Causing Havoc

Last night I was in the Banbury area, heading in the direction of Coventry but wanted to go across country to get to Warwick, the number of roads which were CLOSED OFF was mish mash, done by someone who did not know the area, the diversion signs were very few and did not make much sense.
I know the back roads but so many were blocked off when you diverted along them/
The police stopped me as a car driver was lost and got ditched, after about 15 minutes plod moved me on, I decided to go through one of the farms I know to avoid more hassle, 3 cars followed me, I stopped to say howdy to the farmer who thought it hilarious, he told them NOT TO MAKE A HABIT OF IT, we all smiled.
I stopped chin wagging for ages and seen a vixen and 3 cubs crossing a field, luvlee sight..
