Good old fashioned parlour games are the best - hide the thimble/charades etc, as many or as few people can play :smilin:

Lack of imagination and natural fun loving perhaps. :dunno:

I have grandchildren who love board games and the laughs they generate.

I thought he meant that boys should only wear them for a short time.

One should care. If you see women wearing unsuitable shoes a lot of the time, you should tell them how bad they are for their feet, before it's too late.

Do you see any spite in what I’ve said? :dunno:

No I don't - but the daily gashathon is a bit overdue and you appear to have unwittingly triggered it. :gigglesnshit:

don't be fooled she knows exactly what she is doing

throw out some subtle snides, wait for someone to dare to point them out

explode

she lives for it, and as I'm distracting myself from the glory of the ME concrete industry I'm happy to play, as soon as I've finished amusing myself I'll move on

Subtle snides? Grow up.

still living for it I see

go you...

if I were a bitch I'd probably say that you are making a fuss about women in glam shoes because you can't find any to force onto your trotters

some women wear glam shoes to feel good about themselves, some wear them to impress members of their own sex. some wear them to impress members of the opposite sex, some wear them for a combinaion of the above, some wear them for none of the above - who gives a fuck why they wear them

you ooze bitterness from every pore, your limitation are your own, don't hate on others for them

It would be a caring thing to do - looking out for the health of the feet of your fellow women.

I was reading an article in a magazine in the Dentist the other day, about the Duchess Of Cambridge and her feet. She has all manner of bunions, and toe issues apparently. It's all from wearing high heels it seems. She still wears them though. I think some people would just carry on and not bother. Like Kate :smilin:

She'll be sorry later on. It's not just heels either, it's wearing shoes which are too narrow at the front, forcing your toes together. Bad shoes can cause bunions, neuromas, corns, plantar fasciitis, etc. Mind you, it's difficult to find shoes which are foot shaped.

I think that the historical patriarchal nature of our society carries much of the burden of the thought processes that lead to women abusing their feet - however it's still none of my business why and when other women wear glam shoes

except when it's NN, then I just take the piss the following day

I thought it was just my geeky daughter, but we have all the traditional ones and have games night on a Thursday, monopoly, cluedo and the like

another one I've got her for Christmas is a London based detective one - 'the search for Mr X' or something

I'd never tell anyone not to wear heels. We all have freedom of choice.

Poor NN ... Have you just a little sympathy you can direct her way?

Burning balls must be uncomfortable, let alone blisters the size of them :kinell:
