Who Would You Pick?

A right load of bollocks...

Bob Marley.

In the government yard in Trenchtown.

I recently read a book about the history of hip hop which outlined how influential he and his music was in bringing about social and political change in Jamaica which was really inspiring. It would be amazing to see him in concert with The Wailers.

And a lot of drugs.

For me it would be Freddie, Amy and Frank Sinatra in his younger days

Me too.

From that list Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley or Kurt Cobain.

I love Frank Sinatra, I totally fancy Bob Marley and would love to see him dance and Even though I’m not a huge Nirvana fan I would like to see Kurt Cobain back because I think I would get the chills.

I’d pick Frank Sinatra because I couldn’t not.

John Lennon, he was shot down in his prime and had so much more to offer the world and his family.
The rest all seemed like spent forces.

Difficult to see how Hendrix who was just embarking on his jazz career when he died at the age of 27 could be described as a spent force. :dunno:

He didn't take too many drugs - in fact way fewer than Lennon.

Not necessarily, if it some who is exploring the mind and effect etc, generally highly intelligent/talented folks.

Anyway Bob every time for me and I saw him live at Crystal Palace http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/crystal% ... -1980.html

First big gig ever was Queen at Lancaster Uni.

Jimmi played in Carlisle or opened some fashion shop, I missed that as too young but have some copies of the original pics from a man I rented a room from whilst at Art school there, must search them out, suspect my lad has them in his room :smilin:
