Moore's Bond movies
Live and Let Die (1973)
The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
Moonraker (1979)
For Your Eyes Only (1981)
Octopussy (1983)
A View to a Kill (1985)

He also appeared, suitably attired in a sweater, on a number of knitting patterns, prompting at least one wag to christen him the Big Knit.

Oh, my heart throb ...such a refined/quick witted/sarcastic man. My first knowledge of him was via his modeling on those sweater patterns; trying to learn how to while looking at that handsome face adorning the package ...he was quite enjoyable to the eyes! And in one of his interviews during his '007' years, he thought his persona as James Bond was more of the 'LOVER' while Sean Connery was more of the quick witted master mind; 'after all - how secret could 007 be if every one knew your name - knew what you looked like - and what you drank and how to make it?'
Now that was funny and very ironic

Back in the 90's, he was a regular, together with his first wife, Luisa, at an Italian restaurant in Pimlico I used to go to.

Luisa was a typically fiery (& very vocal!) Italian diva :gigglesnshit: He, on the other hand, was the epitome of suave, 'old school', beaming geniality, with a very impish glint to his eye.

Pure, understated class, from head to toe. RIP, Sir Rog.

RIP Sir Roger.

Old skool gentleman, with a naughty glint in his eye. Something to be admired.

Worse Bond ever. Still very watchable in all he did and his punny name always made me grin

RIP to one of the old school of gentlemen.

My second favourite Bond after Brosnan - and who can forget the pivotal role of his eyebrows in The Saint?

Bye Rodg.

James Bond movies have changed beyond all recognition, having taken into account the strong presence of the internet and the changing role of women and I sooo loved the last two movies but I feel nostalgic about old style ones too.

Roger Moore was the most suave and debonair of all the Bond actors. RIP Roger. :Wiiiine!:

I loved THE SAINT...was on public TV in the USA back in the day.Even though they had the same cast of actors playing different roles each time(budget no doubt).
