This is about a cowboy in Texas, rescuing some horses that were in danger of drowning because of Hurricane Harvey.

He's doing fine, thanks Vic. We'll be renting his arse out a lot more for riding lessons in the Autumn, cos he's a big old softy :wubwub:

The dogs do sometimes irritate the hell out of him, though, faffing about around him and getting in his way. But all it takes is the head going down, plus a few VERY loud snorts, and they scatter!

I loved helping out at those stables last year Vam, it was the first time i had been up close with horses before.

They all looked huge and rather intimidating, but they were so friendly.

Yeah, I remember you mentioning that. I hope you can do it again some time, cause it seemed to make you really happy :smilin: Horses can be ace stress busters.

Top tip - next time you do nip down there, take a pack of Polo Mints - a Polo Mint can make a horse's eyes roll in absolute ecstasy!

His Nibs relaxing.

Actually i'm just back from the vets with Jack and there was only one other dog there, a wee curly dog that looked like a soft toy.

I said to her owner "What's wrong with her?" He replied "Fleas"

Imagine taking your dog to vets when she has fleas!!

Me and Jack probably have them now!!

I don't know what goes through the minds of some folk, i really don't.

Four wee helpless puppies covered in tar and left to die.

Thankfully all the pups made a full recovery.
