William the Bulldog had been so badly treated, vets cried when they first saw him.

William had been malnourished, had lost all his fur because of a skin complaint and his nails were so long, he had holes in his paws.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4768362/Designer-dog-battling-condition-mistreated.html

Thankfully William is expected to make a full recovery, but that could take up to six months.

Oh bless his little heart!

Anyone who can do that to an innocent creature, whether they be human or animal is evil.

As are these twisted fuckers. :shake head:

A report has found that most animal abusers in England and Wales don't get sent to prison.

13,862 people in England and Wales were found guilty of abusing animals between 2005 and 2015 and 92% avoided a custodial sentence.

There's also calls to increase the maximum sentence for animal cruelty from six months to five years.

England and Wales have the lowest maximum sentence for animal cruelty in Europe.

The Scottish SPCA are looking after a Beaver after he was snatched by a dog.

It's the first time the rescue centre in Fishcross has looked after a Beaver and Timber will be nursed back to full health, before being released back into the wild when he's two.

Plans to introduce Eurasian Lynx just 30 miles from Glasgow, 1300 years after it became extinct in the UK have be outlined in a consultation paper.

Some people aren't happy about it, because they think they could attack livestock.

I don't think it's a great idea Az.

They say it will help control deer and protect the Capercaillie, but i think a lot of sheep will end up dead. :ooer:

Actually it's The Glorious Twelfth tomorrow.

I don't know why it's called that, because it sure ain't "Glorious" for the birds.
