You should try talking to the relatives of the 1000's of people slaughtered at Mid staffs

That was a disgrace and hopefully will never happen again but that is no consolation for the bereaved. The man causes were poor leadership, apathy, bullying culture and a weak system of managing incidents

Should all GP's be struck off because of Shipman?

You're either a gullible sort who believes all the neo cons tell you or you're trolling. Which is it?

Yep, neo con. You display all the hallmarks, complete with sweeping generalisations and trite clichés.

Why do you want to impose on people, or support, corporate rule, zero state, pay twice for everything (tax plus charges for service) private provision type of society that only benefit the few?

You couldn't afford their dream society, yet you support it's creation. :ooer:

Happy to oblige, Braincell...

"The only serious black mark against the NHS was its poor record on keeping people alive...the authors say that the healthcare system cannot be solely blamed for this issue, which is strongly influenced by social and economic factors."

...and delighted that:

"The United Kingdom [NHS] ranks first overall, scoring highest on quality, access and efficiency.

The NHS also outperforms the other countries – which include France, Germany and Canada – in managing the care of people who are chronically ill, the report said."

Makes one proud to be British - *sob* - well done, Mr Attlee. :cuppaT:

I've worked for the NHS and don't see how on earth they could be ranked number 1 for efficiency, I've never seen such waste.
