Nope, not me. I merely responded once to the guest who mentioned it. You do like to exaggerate rather a lot, don't you?

I told him a million times not to exaggerate

Not seen this thread before. Never been to the carnival before. We will deffo go see it next year.

Many years ago, i lived in a row of student-type bedsits, directly opposite the British Museum for nearly a year. I would luv for the family to go stay there again for the weekend ( for nostalgia's sake) .... when we go see the carnival next year.

I was merely reminding everyone that the fantastic multicultural jamboree was making it's annual appearance this weekend. Just in case anyone wanted to go, I thought I'd remind them to take plenty of cash and valuables or a suitable stab vest, the people who prey on the mugs who attend don't take to kindly to robbing people who say they have no money.

Being a good citizen is being a racist now, whatever next.

Thank you for warning us,
you should have warned us about the Glastonbury Festival as well, over 240 Crimes were commited this year at the festival, including one death and one person suffering a "life threatening condition" , overall the crime rate this year was 20% down on the last festival.
But then I suppose Glastonbury festival is nothing to do with Racialism

Between 2004 and 2013 there were more than 3600 crimes at T In The Park.

Among them there were..

Three attempted murders

Ten sexual assaults

An Abduction

Countless Robberies

Several serious assaults

I could go on....

Not a bad tally over a 9 year period - they get that on a single day a 'Carnival'.

Talking of Glastonbury. I was pleased to read that the dog "accidently" left in a tent by her owners. Had been returned home after they finally came forward to claim her.

Dolly Parton was going to take the dog back to America with her if they hadn't.

Last years 'Carnival' - recognised as one of the more peaceful and law abiding in recent years:

Police made close to 170 arrests on the second day of the Notting Hill Carnival for offences including assault on police and possession of an offensive weapon.

As of 10.45pm last night 168 people were in custody.

These included seven people arrested on suspicion of assault on police, 61 arrested on suspicion of drug related offences and 11 arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon.

On the first day of the event, Sunday, police made 111 arrests.

It still doesn't add up to your claim of 3600 crimes a day.
