Is doomsday nearer than we think?

A right load of bollocks...

Ukraine v Russia, a war of attrition between one that can afford this, and one that cannot without outside help.
One fighting for survival and nationhood, the other fighting for a draconian master.
On both sides ordinary people are getting slaughtered on a daily basis.
Watching drones hunting down armoured vehicles is bad enough, but seeing drones chase individual soldiers around and about in circles, and then killing them in kamikaze strikes is very sinister :yikes:
AI has led to completely autonomous drones with the ability to fly over enemy lines, use its onboard built in memory of enemy forces, identify an enemy target, and then ( all on its own ) launch a strike on any given target.
Skynet anyone? :yikes:

Because of Cameron’s speech, where he stated it’s okay for Ukraine to fire British supplied long range missiles into Russia, the Kremlin now says that they’re getting ready to launch tactical nukes at British bases.
It doesn’t worry me, because Putin has used the threat of nukes so often now that it’s become a running joke.
I recall his theatrics at the start of the invasion, when he was accompanied everywhere by a man carrying the “nuclear launch football” briefcase.
He stopped such posturing a very long time ago, but still thinks the threat of nukes will have some effect on the West’s support for Ukraine.
It won’t, and he knows that, which is why he’s throwing so much money into conventional arms production, and creating lots of new troop units for a massive summer offensive to try and break through the Ukrainian defensive lines in east Ukraine.
Putin knows that time is his greatest ally in this war of attrition, he’s fully committed and counting on western arms supplies to dwindle or die.

Putin has never threatened Britain with nukes nor tactical nukes. Are you a native Russian speaker that listens to his long and boring speeches, or someone that just listens to what is said in various western media outlets whose main priority is to gain views and sales?

Russia is a totalitarian state with a dictator running it as they do. The Russian government, controlled and micro-managed by him has directly threatened the UK with nuclear weapons several times. Ergo, Putin has threatened the UK with nuclear weapons.

HTH.

Bang on.
The huge megatonnage nuclear torpedo, designed to explode miles off shore to cause a radioactive tsunami to flood all of the UK is a scary prospect. The east coast of America is also a target for the same device.
The destructive power of nukes these days is frightening, so much so that only a lunatic would ever use them.

Yeah but that's bollocks along with the fallout shitting cruise missile that will shed nukes after circling the world a few times. You're either a Putin shill or plain stupid because what strategist ever thought 'let's dump it in the sea and make a massive wave' rather than 'blow the absolute fuck out of it with minimal firepower' past the age of seven? :ooer:

Incidentally, cruise missiles do not go into space, the name cruise is the clue. Where did you do your research? What you just said is bollocks. What moron thinks anyone would have any weapon shedding nuclear fallout from space, when even kids no fallout is a product of a nuclear explosion on, below or just above the Earth, which causes Earth etc to be carried upwards into the atmosphere, so that when the material falls back to earth it is radiated, and is known as nuclear fallout.
You need to start googling and educate yourself, the stuff you post is just so stupid, it’s embarrassing.

You need to start to have a word with yourself, my post was clearly satire based on previous RF claims about mass destruction from weapons that don't exist, I can see why Musk employs the same tactics to inflate his share price.

How much are they paying you per post? I've had this discussion before with other guests and it isn't a lot.

Not sure that addressed the comment. Some might say non-sequitor, ad hominem, deflection.

Separate to this the original question: "Is doomsday nearer than we think?"
assumes that "we" "think". The more I spend on such forums the less I believe that "we think". Yes something is happening but I am not sure it can be called "thinking".

Vlad is trying to open a new front in NE Ukraine, thousands are being evacuated.
He’s trying to take Kharkiv or Sumy.
He’s failed to do so before, with highly trained forces.
Now he’s just throwing more cannon fodder at this attempt.
More pointless deaths on both sides.
Somebody please get rid of Putin so that this madness can stop.

The time to stop Putin was during the premiership of Dmitry Medvedev.

Inconveniently he was trying to reduce Russia's dependence on oil and gas exports when the Western Allies wanted to expand their reliance on Russian oil and gas because they wanted to press sanctions against Iran.

Would that be the East German raised Angela Merkov?
She knew where her loyalties lied in making Germany reliant on Russia.
Well intentioned for peace through trade.
That’s bitten her on the arse, she overestimated her ability to placate.

What is never discussed in the mainstream media:
a) Minsk Agreements.
b) Merkel's and others saying that the Minsk Agreement was a con job by them to arm Ukraine.
c) Ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine.
d) .......

No offence mate, but all of that is irrelevant, given a full on invasion of a peaceful state that posed zero threat to Russia.
Or are you that thick that you think Ukraine wanted to invade Russia?
Idiot!
