I've always found it a bit silly when someone changes the name of a newspaper to reflect their opinion of it, even when it was fashionable to do so.

If you had an ounce of intelligence you would know that the story and court cases around it should have massive repercussions for the media and how they go about their business, but rather than read the story and engage like an adult you choose to be an immature arsehole as usual.

Does anyone else think that it's insane that you can literally be blackmailed with the threat of bankruptcy if you do not accept an outrageous amount of cash to shut you up? Mr Grant is donating it to Hacked Off and other investigative groups.

Does anyone else think that it's insane that you can literally be blackmailed with the threat of bankruptcy if you do not accept an outrageous amount of cash to shut you up? Mr Grant is donating it to Hacked Off and other investigative groups.

Reading about it earlier, it's a way of cutting the burden on the Court system and just so happens to be an avenue only open to the rich which also allows them to keep all that pesky truth from being aired in the open courts.
As you say High is putting that money to good use and we can hope that will cost Murdoch more in the long run.

The massively rich, well over a billion has been set aside in order to avoid justice by the family company. They employ very expensive lawyers who create massive bills, Mr Grant was on the hook for £10 million in legal fees if the court ordered one penny less than the settlement offer.
