The store, known by many brummies as 'Rackhams' I'm in intending to set the fire alarm off in on purpose to vent my frustration mainly over the various times the UK has been compared unfavorably with the US or when the US has taken the right course of action on something when the UK hasn't in comparison.
So, I was wondering, can I set the fire alarm off in the Birmingham branch of House Of Fraser to vent my frustration over the following?
The US having the 'ESTA' system you have to go through online before you are allowed to fly to the US and then you have to have your fingerprints scanned on arrival whereas US visitors to the UK STILL face no such equivalent process.
During the height of the coronavirus pandemic, the US closed it's borders to non-US citizens but US citizens were still allowed to visit the UK.
People on the comments sections on news articles on Facebook about people who have committed crimes stating we should be like the US despite the fact their justice system has severe flaws to it.
The US prison system being tougher than ours.
The extradition treaty being one sided heavily in the favor of the US.
Somebody on the comments section of a post on a group on Facebook was whinging how when they had been traveling around the US, the countryside was apparently far cleaner and tidier on average than ours.
When someone gets refused entry to the US, people praise them for that and whinge and moan why the UK doesn't do the same.
