I hope you get good weather too! I wish her well but I think I'll be avoiding broadcast TV those days.

I think I’ll take a walk over to the Mall and see what’s happening :more beer:

I probably won't bother, I can't afford the petrol to go anywhere.

I'm thinking this is all going to be a bit of a flop.
Talking to people few now give a shit about the royals and anything to do with celebrating them.
Even the queen.
Yes of course people still have a lot of admiration for her but this event is beginning to sound like waving her and her family goodbye.
I think the majority... the majority of people think it's all over.
When the queen dies I don't think the funeral will be uniting the nation as it once would have done I think it will divide the nation like never before.

Crowds 10 deep in The Mall with some people camping there for 2 days now. Doesn't sound like a flop to me.

I’m so looking forward to the fly past, and I’m so happy that the only bearskin I’m able to wear is the one I have at home :gigglesnshit:
However, I’m enjoying looking at all The Guards on parade, and thinking to myself what a magnificent display!
We certainly do put on a good show.

Many streets have bunting up, and many are having street parties.

I'm watching it right now, I quite enjoy it. I know I lot of people had enough of the monarchy, but lets not forget that this will be the last platinum jubilee we will ever see anyway, so we might as well enjoy it. She was/is a great Queen, she's never put a foot wrong in 70 years.
Looking forwards to the flyover.
