That looks like or similar a punt gun to me, SBI

If so, they are normally secured to the front of the punt, the shooters lay down on the stomachs and paddle as quietly as possible with their hands fo a near silent approach to wildfowl which is usually a multiple bag.

I am fully conversant with firearms regulations, having spent the last few months along with local residents, Holiday establishments , local council , many nature groups, Ramblers Associations etc, campaigning against Planning Permission for a Clay Pigeon Shooting establishment to operate in our area 364 days a year , regarding noise safety , security etc .
Unfortunatley The Council Granted them Planning Permission to proceed .
