Brendan Cox Sex Pest

Brendan Cox Sex Pest

Postby malamute » Sat Feb 17, 2018 11:24 pm

The widower of Labour MP Jo Cox has finally admitted to being a sex pest. Always thought he looked as guilty as hell when allegations were made against him when he worked for Save The Children. There was him speaking to the country as though he was Saint Brendan and all along he was harbouring his secret.

Its all over the papers tonight so take your pick where you read it. This will do charities even more harm.

Bib - no he hasn't. That's trash DM spin and not quoted as that in any other media.

Mr Cox denied assaulting a woman in her 30s at Harvard University in 2015 - but admitted to "inappropriate" behaviour while working for Save the Children. In a statement issued on Saturday, he said: "While I do not accept the allegations contained in the 2015 complaint to the police in Cambridge, Massachusetts, I do acknowledge and understand that during my time at Save the Children I made mistakes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-43101434

Mr Cox denied allegations of sexual harassment but admitted his actions may have been "inappropriate". https://www.standard.co.uk/news/uk/bren ... 69336.html

"He claimed allegations against him were a ‘massive exaggeration’, during an interview with the newspaper." http://metro.co.uk/2018/02/17/murdered- ... s-7321522/

'The Mail on Sunday claimed Mr Cox drunkenly harassed a female employee at Save the Children in London - allegedly holding her by the throat and making a lurid comment. He left his role at the charity shortly afterwards.'

'In an interview with the newspaper, Mr Cox refused to disclose what his wife knew of the allegations, but said: "We never pretended that we had the perfect relationship, or the perfect marriage.

"We had difficult times, we had amazing times, but I'm not going to recount conversations I had with her because she's not here."

He conceded that there were "instances" where he made people feel uncomfortable at Save the Children which were viewed as inappropriate, adding: "I think that charge is a fair one."

He continued: "Certainly, I had too much to drink at times.

"I probably behaved in a way I thought was sort of jokey, or flirtatious. I often wasn't being serious, but that was perceived differently by others."

:wurms: :ooer:

Something fishy here.

Yes, fishy indeed.

Bloke has one too many and gets frisky with other women, who reject advances.

Sounds very unlikely to me.

Apart from in every club, in every town in the UK, on any night of the week.

Nice move with the 'don't pick on me, remember my wife got murdered in case you forgot'

"Certainly, I had too much to drink at times."

Another greaseball who thinks just coz he's pissed he can do anything, life's not a catholic confessional mate, where you can fess up and everything is instantly forgiven, time and time again.

Typical liberal shit ball :hand:

He sounds like an unsavoury character, that's for sure - assuming that the people coming out of the woodwork are genuine.

And we all know what you think about people coming out of the woodwork to accuse men of sexual misdemeanors, don't we TJ ???

Well of course using that assumption but it's hardly an assumption when the bloke admits himself he might have been a notoroius sex pest and groper.

I bet he used to photocopy his cock and stick it in the faces of female workers at Christmas parties like what I used to do.

He's a sexual predator, what you're reading today is the tip of the iceberg. He's been hiding behind his dead wife for nearly two years now. He's absolute nobhead.

I seem to remember similar allegations being leveled at Aled Jones last year over a couple of 'inappropriate' text messages sent to a female work colleague 10 years back. Quite why anyone needs to keep text messages on their phone for such a length of time begs the question as to who is the real predator and who is the prey there? Finally the BBC saw sense and reinstated Jones.

The matter over Cox isn't even news. It surfaced last year so exactly what reason it's been dragged up again for now with articles full of allegations leading to assumptions and people with highly over imaginative minds, makes me wonder where it's coming from and for what purpose. It's provided a convenient deflection taking the heat off the recent Oxfam revelations.

Slow news day.

Time to resurrect stories like 'Corbyn is a commie spy' and 'Cox is a sexual predator'.

Oh, and It's provided a convenient deflection from Tory civil wars and their Brexishambles efforts.[/quote]

That doesn't make him a 'sexual predator' though does it? He has denied assault but admitted to "inappropriate" behaviour. Today that can be anything from a wolf whistle to what used to be everyday office banter. When women engage in either of the latter it's 'just a bit of fun' - when men engage it they are 'sexual predators' or 'perverts'.
