Some intelligent people out there KNOW you have to INVEST into an ECONOMY to make it GROW. Let us know when you know how an economy works with austerity programmes. You do know? Yes an economy DOESN'T WORK with austerity programmes because the numbers excluded from it due to unemployment etc.
Like here we have an extra ONE MILLION economically inactive, which were all PAYING TAX and now are on BENEFITS. The investment by the state reduces its welfare burden AND increases the tax take.
You want to INCREASE the welfare burden and REDUCE the tax take. That makes economic sense
