It was a split on the left in the 1980s, Labour/SDP, which helped sustain Thatcher. No-one much liked anyone then either.

You seem to have already forgotten that UKIP nicking thousands of votes from the Tories cost them a majority at the last election, Raggy.

And that was when Labour were 6 points BEHIND in the polls.

Based on last night, they are now 7 points IN FRONT.

Every UKIP vote is a kick in the guts for Dave.
