Yeah, me and my grandson liked the new Jungle Book and found it very entertaining - we were less impressed by (not so new) 'Goosebumps' which began well but disappointed as it went on.

Deadpool was good if you like that sort of thing.

The Legend Of Barney Thomson, it has a good cast.

Robert Caryle, Ashley Jensen, Emma Thompson and Ray Winstone.

Robert Caryle is a hairdresser who accidentally kills a few of his colleagues, while at the same time a serial killer is on the loose in Glasgow.

The killer is taunting the police (Jensen and Winstone) by sending them parts of the victims in the post.

They get someone's arse one day.

Ray Winstone is convinced it's Robert Caryle, who he hates and Ashley Jensen is convinced it isn't him.

Little fact..

In the film Robert Caryle is in a train station buying a ticket, it's my brother's step-daughter, who's standing beside him.

I like the look of that!

I notice that it also has James Cosmo in the cast - a cracking actor and despite his imposing stature and granite looks is apparently a huge giggler on set. :canny:

I made the mistake of mentioning this movie in another thread recently, (completely off thread at that time), but Blue is the Warmest Colour, in French, but subtitled in English is superbly well acted and shot.
The story line concerns two young women, Adèle Exarchopoulos, and Léa Seydoux, who enter into a lesbian relationship.
I swear to God, on a stack of bibles, no matter how much guys are supposed to be into it, girl on girl does nothing for me, but the sex scenes between these two were so convincing, that from what I saw, they were definitely going at it for real.
It was on Channel 4 about two weeks back, don't know if you can still get it on Catch-Up, but well worth watching.

I would suggest Gangs Of Wasseypur but that's in Hindi and I think English dubbed won't have the same charisma...

Not bad. Not necessary to see on big screen tho either...imho.
Fine for netflix...

Based on a true story...
It kept feeling like an American Hustle wannabe and falling short.
Nobody makes the blood run cold like de niro in that choke moment at the big secret meeting in AH. :Wiiiine!:
