I preferred him on Radio 1 in the 80's with Sid the manager, Damien the social worker, Mr. Angry, Gervase the gay hairdresser. :leer:

At the end of September. Just announced this afternoon. He's been in that slot for 42 years, both on Radio 1 then Radio 2, apart from a short spell on R1 breakfast in 1993. End of an era. Scott Mills moves from R1 to take over, 2-4pm and Sara Cox gets an extra hour.
