It does not matter what Weavie, Rich and the rest of the twats think on the AV migrant forum. They are a minority shouting out about a minority stance on migration. They may feel they have achieved some kind of moral victory by getting people banned who don't share their POV, however at the end of they day they achieve nothing.

The majority of the country (including a great many Labour and Liberal supporters) understand the current situation cannot continue - and want action to be taken.

No amount of groping by Rich, Weavie and the rest of the muppet show will change the greater publics stance on the issue, nor Starmer's who seems to have woken up on the issue.

In the last 24 hours we've had attempts to burn down a French synagogue and the conviction of a terrorist asylum seeker who murdered an innocent Jew. Plus earlier this week there was another terror plot prevented

Why do these atrocities never get mentioned on ASF? But say anything about Turkish barbers and you'll get lynched

I think the place will spontaneously combust and set the whole Internet on fire.

Knowing how fickle most of them are though and the most important thing being that the majority agree and like each others posts - they'll soon turn on Starmer/Labour. There will be a period of uncertainty but the regulars and mods will soon make sure it's a safe space echo chamber again so they don't get triggered.

I can't wait to see how the AVF lot cope once they arrive in their perceived Utopian Starmer world. What's the poor mod trying to silence positivity gonna do when she finds nowt's likely to change. The mental health thread is going to be pages and pages long with these whingers.

Another unreasonable post on the AVF Cost of Living thread. This is from one of the mods, albeit a personal view rather than a mod warning. "Quite frankly I don't want to see people coming into this thread telling how wonderful their life is and how things aren't as bad as we think". I suspect this comment is aimed at Rusty, who often tries to add some balance to the debate and suggestions as to how to make some savings. I wonder if the "doom and gloom" regulars will still be as keen to shine a light on the cost of living issue when Starmer is at the helm and inevitably proving he can't solve the problem. I see Inkinoo has returned to the Migrants thread to share some of his pearls of wisdom with everyone. Good to see Nordic is back and posting some much needed common sense, much to the annoyance of Inky and company.

I don't understand what you mean. Miss Ann Thrope was expressing appreciation for someone who was looking out for them. The man standing on the street corner is an unknown so it's not being judgemental but as people (usually men) sometimes attack other people in the street, it's merely precautionary to have a concern.

Miss Ann Thrope is one of the best AV members in my opinion.

This annoyed me over on AVF.

By Miss Ann Thrope; "I had a nice taxi driver bring me home. He could see a man standing on the street corner near to my flat and he said he would wait for me to get in before driving off. It’s nice to know there are men like that in the world".

Being non judgmental should work both ways, whether it's looking out for a male who identifies as female OR someone who is just standing on a street corner.

The total lack of self awareness these people seem to have is absolutely astounding to me.

I do agree with the thread title though, I do think rolling news has caused far more harm than good and we'd have been a very different world without it. See also social media, notifications, trending nonsense, etc. Just way too much clutter for the brain.

Where are we meant to seek help? I'd love to, I know I have a problem but I can hardly go to the NHS with "it's RichPBasildonBond doctor, he's living rent free in my head". I'm sure it will be a recognised condition one day with the advances in medical science but at present, what can we do? :(

I also echo your well wishes to rich, although I'm sure iron giant removed rich's tongue from his arse for long enough to administer some smelling salts. As for Kuntsh, nothing screams "I have no mates and no social interaction" louder than his rather tragic efforts at being the 'funny man' in every thread. He positively glows when he gets a laugh. Shame they are woke pity laughs, but hey, gotta take what you can get in this world!
