It's SW Water (who have the highest priced rates in the country) not the EA who are to blame and it's not the first time that we have had this shit in our water, the last time was around ten years ago and nobody cared. :flog:

The fucking car is mid-way through an almost complete engine and front suspension rebuild, I was at the verge of binning it as a sunk cost fallacy and started to look on Cinch and other sites where I could spend the same that I would on repairs on a newer car. Sadly they all looked like shit and were around the same age and then I was offered a coupe model of the same type as mine for a grand, time waster... :again?:

Rob the absolute legendary mech has given me the loaner to get me to and from work, a thirty year old Fiesta with a turret and a working radio :thumbsup: It actually belts it around the lanes and sips the petrol, it's like shagging a (insert misogynistic reference here), lots of fun but you hope that your mates don't see you :wink:

This cryptosporidium outbreak in Devon is a bit of a worry, people being hospitalised and many suffering vile symptoms.
This country really is failing its citizens, and the environment agency needs to get a grip.

Today was bloody glorious in beautiful weather with just my route postcodes, if I'm quiet I have to take extra stops from other areas so just running your own shit rocks because of local knowledge and knowing where people who aren't in, work :wink:

The car saga has shifted to plan A.

Nice day today. Started out in the sticks and the deployant clasp on my old Casio daily watch gave up at the first drop, I had a delivery at jewellers a bit later and got it fixed (for free, thanks Mrs H). It's strange how you miss familiar things. It turned out to be a lovely day and after the church service the venue was right by the sea so we were able to get some lovely photos.
I got home and we had a big thunderstorm.
I love thunderstorms so that was an added bonus to the day.

Same here, I love thunderstorms, there’s a certain power in the manifestation of them that we have no control of.
All we can do is observe and be in awe of their majesty.
