I believe Zelensky when he says western aid arrived a year too late.
The F16’s can not come soon enough, they’re the only hope Ukraine has of stopping the long range a Russian glide bombs, that are unstoppable at present, by detecting and shooting down the Russian planes that are releasing them many miles before the Ukrainian border.
The ancient Soviet aircraft that Ukraine has cannot detect them, let alone fire missiles at them, but the F16’s can and will.
They will be a gamechanger against all Russian airplanes, and help reverse Russian air dominance.
Their sophisticated radars and onboard weapons ordnance will give them fire and forget capabilities that Russia will find hard to counter, at first!
Then matters will evolve, it’s never ending, but based on Himars and ATACMS, and the nonstop defeats of Vlad’s indestructible S400’s, there is hope for Ukraine.
I was astounded today by hearing BTR 50’s are now being used by Russian assault units. That’s very sad for Russian frontline troops, they’re so bloody old! Poor fuckers
