I'm always astounded at Putin supporters using that to justify an invasion. It's not even original. It's the same argument Hitler put forward for invading Poland. He wanted to protect ethnic Germans in Poland.

Doubtful as they're still getting funded by the Russians :gigglesnshit:

Confidently incorrect.

Stick to the thread subject idiot!
Take your overinflated ego, and astounding ignorance of this thread’s subject elsewhere if you want sympathy.

Putin has never threatened Britain with nukes nor tactical nukes. Are you a native Russian speaker that listens to his long and boring speeches, or someone that just listens to what is said in various western media outlets whose main priority is to gain views and sales?

Said like a true apparatchik :canny:
I hope you’re getting roubles for your ridiculous comments?

No offence mate, but all of that is irrelevant, given a full on invasion of a peaceful state that posed zero threat to Russia.
Or are you that thick that you think Ukraine wanted to invade Russia?
Idiot!

More pointless deaths on both sides.
Somebody please get rid of Putin so that this madness can stop.

The time to stop Putin was during the premiership of Dmitry Medvedev.

Inconveniently he was trying to reduce Russia's dependence on oil and gas exports when the Western Allies wanted to expand their reliance on Russian oil and gas because they wanted to press sanctions against Iran.

Would that be the East German raised Angela Merkov?
She knew where her loyalties lied in making Germany reliant on Russia.
Well intentioned for peace through trade.
That’s bitten her on the arse, she overestimated her ability to placate.

Not sure that addressed the comment. Some might say non-sequitor, ad hominem, deflection.

Separate to this the original question: "Is doomsday nearer than we think?"
assumes that "we" "think". The more I spend on such forums the less I believe that "we think". Yes something is happening but I am not sure it can be called "thinking".
