One of the worst cases - a young dog-sitter who had her face ravaged by two mutts she was looking after.
I quickly scrolled past the photos as I cannot bear such sights. I won't even post a link lest someone who does not want to see it, clicks on it in error. But here's the jist of the story >
"Jacqueline Durand, from Texas, her face was torn off by two rescue dogs - Bender, a boxer and pitbull mix, and Lucy, a German Shepherd mix. She was dragged around the house and her nose, ears, lips and cheeks ripped off. The dogs were destroyed and Durant sued their owners - Justin and Ashley Bishop - for negligence. She had extensive recovery surgery and is hoping to avoid a face transplant."
Poor girl. A cruel thing to happen to a 21 yo. It was during the pandemic as well. She still remains positive in her outlook.
