Here, in the UK, there is only one rule of law
And it applies to all - whatever religion you associate with

So why are you so scared of it?

Yes they wiil, they already have look it up. Muslims are making inroads in this country. You will not be bending one knee you will be bending both knees or future generations will. How are all those golden oldies in this forum since I have been away.

Don't be daft.

Have you been banged up?

No, working for ?.......... Released from contract yesterday. How ever starting a new one next thursday. I will pop in from time to time.

An unfortunate choice of word, given the question you're replying to. :yikes:

No dogs in this fight, just jesting!

Most Russians are Orthodox Christians, aren't they?

By the time Bodger has sold us out to Putin, there'll be no need to worry about Muslims. You'll just need to get used to the smell of incense.

Wow! When I first read your post I thought it was a joke
But it’s not. The rumours are all over the place
Something to do with the ECHR report apparently which Starmer has an advanced copy.
And some pretty viscous comments from the remnants of the Corbyn era should it happen
And how many will quit the party

Fun times ahead.

I always recall Brian and xsalsafanx being so cock sure the centre would never retake Labour because the left were now so large. :pmsl: :pmsl: :pmsl: its just wonderful to see how wrong they were.

I wish PatsyStone had still been on there. Every prediction she made about Labour came true. I'd love to know what her thoughts on Starmer's new direction are.

All parties seem to be going in a new direction after losing.
Then another new direction then another then back to their roots then another direction but nothing ever really changes.

Still in denial I see?
Seems like you and Corbyn are the only 2 left
And we still have the ECHR report to come
Why would Corbyn still be in denial I wonder?
Is he a racist?

Labour has agreed to pay "substantial" damages to seven former employees who sued the party in an anti-Semitism row.
The party has issued an unreserved apology in the High Court for making "false and defamatory" comments about seven whistleblowers who spoke out in a BBC Panorama programme last year.
The individuals had criticised the then leadership's handling of complaints.
Labour said they were wrongly accused of "bad faith" and caused "distress, embarrassment and hurt" by the party.

But former Labour leader Mr Corbyn said the legal settlement "risks giving credibility to misleading and inaccurate allegations about action taken to tackle anti-Semitism in the Labour Party in recent years".
He said it was a "political decision, not a legal one".
■ Labour names head of leaked report investigation
Unite general secretary Len McCluskey described the settlement as a "misuse" of party's funds, suggesting Labour had been advised that it would win the case.

I too wish Patsy had the opportunity to tell Brian 'I told you so'. She was far more clued up in how the grassroots Labour movement were thinking than any of they were. A huge miss to the forum.

Lordy Lordy you I must admit are a reasonably cool cucumber.
Doesn't matter what shit's thrown you duck it dodge or catch it and chuck it back.
It's the way this place was set up to be, never a polite debating society though there are those here desperate to appear informed and knowledgeable about everything from the beginning of time to tomorrow with never a quote or link to be had.
They know the story of every town every statue every bridge every war all historic times and personalities every event and even ..... more!
There'll be a film made about them one day .... The Googlers!
I'm pretty certain they're a psychiatrists dream and there'll be a hundred papers being written about them as we speak.
I used to enjoy having a pop at maddog and he always remained cool.
I'd give him a nervous breakdown type screeching at and then go to bed .... he'd still be cool.
I think twice maybe three times I got him to snap over many years.
As you were corporal ......

Hey Cannydc, I'm glad Momentum has gone! I don't know much about them but they sounded quite poisonous tbh.
Plus they were one of the 3 powerful weapons used literally NONSTOP against Labour during the entire election campaign. Worked a treat cos the tory machinery knows exactly what buttons to press to scare the beejeezus out of people, thru exaggerations & fake news!

The 3 weapons were :
1. Antisemitism accusations
2. Corbyn+Abbot (maligned nonstop)
3. Momentum

Now all 3 weapons are gone, thanks to Kier Starmer > Things are looking up!

I wouldn't go as far as to call them poisonous, but they represented a tiny minority wing of the Labour party with highly left-wing policies often adopted by the young and naive, in other words those who joined when Corbyn became leader. They failed to recognise that their radicalism would be played on by biased media (hence 'loony left) and cost Labour the last but one election. They then complained, unbelievably, that Labour wasn't radical enough... Starmer's victory has put a stop to that.

Sadly Corbyn and Abbot, while highly principled themselves, were never the kind of figurehead leaders Labour needed, and Corbyn's refusal to get off the Brexit fence cost us dear. The anti-Semitism nonsense was, as far as I can tell, all blown up by people who conflate the distaste at the disgraceful actions of the Israeli state against Palestinians with hatred of Jews. It was seized on mercilessly by pro-Tory Jewish groups who hated the idea of a British government standing against Israel. They still do.

I would love to see the horrendous and admitted Islamophobia within the Tory party to be forensically investigated - but the poachers are also the gamekeepers so they will bluster on as normal, avoiding any responsibility while screaming "anti-Semitism" at Labour. Fortunately, like Corbyn, Abbott, Momentum and Brexit, anti-Semitism will be near or at the bottom of peoples worry lists come the next election. Millions of unemployed, and former owners of broken businesses will be eager to vote.

I like Arabic people and I also like Israelis, and a lot of them like each other and want peace and an end to shit stoked up by cardigan wearing pipe smoking bearded left wing loons and right wing depot lovers.
I just wish the people in this country who stoke the fires, along with their fellows around the world would stop shit stirring.

Is that on the same level as I like black people but I don't like Pakistanis?

Listen Mr, who lives in an all white area and has fcuk all johnny foreigner friends, I work in London --now with an Indian, a Mauritian and an Iraqi, and come Monday a Maltese--and I have clients who are Pakistani, Iranian, Chinese, English, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian, Nigerian, etc etc, and the people i know socially are of an equally mixed bag.
My neighbours are equally as mixed, so Maybe It's Because I'm A Londoner?
My point being --you really don't have any idea and therefore your comments are worthless. Sorry but it is true.

I like Arabic people is fucking idiotic .... you like the ones who pimp murder rob maim?
Thought not so even with your fucking pea brain you can see why it's a dumb arse thing to say and only said by certain types ..... thick fuckers in other words.
I suspect you're not inherently racist Raven just fuciking thick.
