Surely you have.

Well, so can we - especially when we find that we were lied to, exploited and manipulated first time round.

Fortunately the British people, rather like many of the Americans who had a similar experience with Trump, have changed their minds with all polls pointing towards a Remain majority.

You're embarrassing yourself now canny with this - it's been over 27 months and you're still banging on about having another vote because your side lost.

Of course people change their minds, what counts though is the mind-set at the time of voting. And of course politics is riddled with exploitation and manipulation - do you think politicians are honest and transparent? Do you believe every party ever voted into power has always delivered all promises in their manifestos?

You are wanting to re-write history, based on people changing their minds. Should we go back through history and claim every PM we've ever had, should never have been allowed in number 10, because people went on to change their minds about them?

What happens is canny, when people change their minds, they vote differently at the next referendum/election, they don't go back to the previous one and have another go. Which is why you see alternating parties in power. And now the public has changed it's mind since the 1975 EU referendum, and has voted to leave this time around. You and your fellow whinging lily-livered nancy boys of the liberal/left will just have take it on the chin and wait for the next EU referendum, and hope the vote goes your way this time, rather than perpetually stamping your feet about the last one.

Just to repeat....

"The rising note of sheer panic in Leavers posts is a thing to behold."

Events are going to overtake the rest of your post, probably by a general election. We won't be sold another pup by Treeza and her band of incompetents. Her "deal" won't get through parliament. Change is coming.

You supporting labour again now?

Cannydc wrote:Wonderful news from the conference...

Labour conference delegates overwhelmingly backed the party’s Brexit policy on Tuesday after Keir Starmer sparked a burst of sustained applause for dropping into his conference speech the line that “nobody is ruling out remain as an option”.

In a compromise brokered by Starmer and backed by the vast majority of delegates in a show of hands on Tuesday, Labour’s formal position is that the party will seek a public vote on Brexit if parliament rejects Theresa May’s deal and it cannot force a general election.

Another step in the right direction.

And here’s me thinking that Corbyn wanted “For the many, not the few”
The many voted to leave
That was a democratic vote
Labour is now anti democracy
Labour now has given in to the few.

what kind of change do you mean? and if brexit loses this time do you go for 2 out of 3?? or do you just quit when you finally have the 'correct result'?

You carry on believing that. Trump is doing fine despite the lefts attempts. People can see what's going on and it's back firing on the Dems badly.
Pretty much what will happen if another brexit vote is forced

So enjoyed watching Trump get laughed at by the rest of the world today. To his face.

What a smack in the mouth to him, and to the dignity of the American people.

But it's forcing people to change their minds. There was a democratic vote and people voted. You lost. Why should you even get to vote if you want to live elsewhere?

The rising note of sheer panic in Leavers posts is a thing to behold. No-one is forcing anyone to change their minds. It's going to be a free vote, and despite it being completely open (this time) and totally democratic Leavers can't handle the idea that truth is more likely to dominate any campaign. No more £350m for the NHS. No more Turkey joining the EU. No more ‘Absolutely nobody is talking about threatening our place in the single market’, and finally, we shall expect to see a Brexit plan - timetabled, costed and agreed by the EU too. Not a 'just leave, they can whistle for the money we owe them' drivel.

And I still live here, and so I get to vote. Tough shit....

Saw the highlights of conference last night.
BBC journalists are so blatantly biased, wish they’d eff off about the made up anti Semitic row and get down to what really matters.
